Abstract
Eficacitatea internaţională a sentinţelor arbitrale străine a cunoscut mai multe etape de
dezvoltare, acestea fiind condiţionate de evoluţia instituţiei arbitrale. În rezultatul acestei evoluţii putem identifica caractere specifice ale etapei de recunoaştere şi executare a sentinţelor arbitrale străine în sistemul Convenţiei de la New York din 1958.
The international efficiency of the foreign arbitral awards has undergone on several development phases, which was due to the evolution of the arbitral institution. In result of these evolvements can be identified diverse characteristics of the procedure related to recognition and enforcement of the fo reign arbitral awards within the system of the New York Convention of 1958.
