| dc.description.abstract | The Chisinau Branch was inaugurated on June 24, 2014, within the premises of the National Library of the Republic of Moldova. On this day, the founding meeting of the Chisinau Branch of the Union of Professional Journalists of Romania (UZPR) took place in the presence of the Romanian delegation, led by Doru Dinu Glăvan (1946-2021), president of the UZPR. Currently, the Chisinau Branch, UZPR, led by Victoria Fonari, is made up of 72 professionals, including 7 honorary persons, in the field of the written, television and radio press. The branch team includes teachers from the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences: Mihai Lescu, PhD, Associate Professor, Andrei Dumbrăveanu, PhD, Associate Professor, Laura Tugarev, PhD. UZPR contributes to the dissemination of events in the Romanian-speaking area, not only in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, but also in Belgium, Italy, Serbia, Israel, Great Britain, France, Spain, Canada, etc. Each type of media production (whether written, audio or video format) is important. The promotion of events by various stations contributes to a stopover of cultural values, to educating the reception of information about intangible and tangible heritage. | en |
