RELAȚIILE DINTRE SERVICIILE ECOSISTEMICE FURNIZATE DE ECOSISTEMELE FORESTIERE ȘI BUNĂSTAREA UMANĂ

Abstract

Tendințele actuale de schimbare a climei influențează semnificativ structura și funcționarea ecosistemelor naturale, inclusiv a ecosistemelor forestiere, ceea ce acționează în mod direct sau indirect bunăstarea umană. Prezentul studiu constă în revizuirea literaturii de specialitate, a efectelor relațiilor dintre serviciile ecosistemice furnizate de ecosistemele forestiere și bunăstarea umană, descriind următoartele aspecte: definirea conceptului de servicii ecosistemice, istoria acestora, categoriile de servicii ecosistemice, relația dintre acestea și bunăstarea umană. Conceptul de servicii ecosistemice a devenit un model important de legătură între funcționarea ecosistemelor forestiere și bunăstarea umană. Înțelegerea acestei legături este esențială, privind un spectru larg de probleme, de luare a deciziilor pentru gestionarea durabilă a ecosistemelor forestiere. Concluzionăm că, dependența umanității față de serviciile ecosistemelor naturale pentru bunăstare și supraviețuire este complexă.

Current climate change trends significantly influenceing the structure and functioning of natural ecosystems, including forest ecosystems, which directly or indirectly affects human well-being. The present study consists in reviewing the specialized literature on the effects of the relationships between ecosystem services provided by forest ecosystems and human well-being, describing the following aspects: the definition of the concept of ecosystem services, their history, categories of ecosystem services and the relationship between them and human well-being. The concept of ecosystem services has become an important model of the link between forest ecosystem functioning and human well-being. Understanding this linkage is essential for a wide range of decision-making contexts for the sustainable management of forest ecosystems. We conclude that humanity’s dependence on nature for well-being and survival is complex.
