Abstract
The article is a study on population geodemographic dynamics in Central Geographic Region of the Republic
of Moldova during 1989-2011. Identify patterns and trends in population dynamics and analyzing the general
dynamics of the region and districts in the context of demographic transition theory. In the study were used the
following methods: statistical-mathematical, graph-analytic and cartographic. The study includes various materials
and information on the population dynamics and can be used for educational and practical purpose
