Abstract

This article aims to examine the methodological dimension of research in the field of personal data protection. Given the peculiar aspects of the subject, its novelty and complexity, the author tried to highlight the role of methodology, the challenges that a researcher must face but also how useful traditional legal research methods can be. At the same time, the author drew attention to the incidence of other sciences and their methodology, but also to the flexibility and insight that a researcher must show.
