Domeniul prioritar al activităţii bancare este domeniul financiar, care determină obiectivele şi scopurile principale ale băncii comerciale şi modul de tratare în realizarea lor practică. Altă strategie prioritară a băncii este strategia de marketing, care reprezintă un component important al managementului strategic ce determină obiectivele-cheie ale dezvoltării comerciale, ale activităţii bancare şi modul de realizare a acestora.

The most important field of banking activity is the financial field, which establishes the important goals and aims of the commercial bank and the way of its achievement. Another important bank’s strategy is the marketing strategy that is an important ingredient of strategic management and which establishes the key-objectives of the commercial development of banking activity and the way of its accomplishment.
