Abstract
Profesia de psiholog, relativ tânără pentru țara noastră, este una dintre ocupațiile dificile, caracterizată prin solicitări
de ordin cognitiv, dar și emoțional. Articolul dat relevă datele unui studiu realizat pe un eșantion de 166 de elevi din
ciclul liceal, care au fost chestionați cu referire la modul în care percep serviciile de asistență psihologică în școală. Se
pune accentul pe caracterul multiaspectual al activității psihologului în instituția de învățământ, de la evaluarea și dez-
voltarea proceselor psihice cognitive, a dimensiunilor de personalitate și până la aspecte legate de relațiile interpersonale și
coeziunea de grup. Având în vedere complexitatea misiunilor ce revin unui psiholog din domeniul educațional, ne-am
propus drept obiectiv de cercetare determinarea viziunilor elevilor privind modul de realizare a activității psihologice în
instituțiile de învățământ cu referire la componenta cognitivă.
Psychology as a profession is relatively new in our country, being considered one of the most difficult occupations, which is characterized by both cognitive and emotional demands. The given article reveals the data of a study carried out on a sample of 166 high school students who were questioned about how they perceive psychological assistance services in school. Emphasis is placed on the multifaceted nature of the psychologist's activity in the educational institution, from the evaluation and development of mental cognitive processes, personality dimensions and up to aspects related to interpersonal relations and group cohesion. Considering the complexity of the responsibilities that fall to an educational psychologist, we proposed the following research objective: determining the students' opinions on the way in which psychological activity is carried out in educational institutions with reference to the cognitive component.
