Abstract

Atitudinile sunt structurile psihice care ne ajută în orientarea selectivă față de diverse aspecte ale mediului în care trăim. Ele reprezintă concepţii explicite sau implicite cu privire la ceea ce este dezirabil sau indezirabil, nu sunt direct observabile și implică elemente cognitive, afective și comportamentale. Atitudinile sunt un mobil fundamental al comportamentului uman şi, deseori, cauza lui directă, iar, în consecinţă, un element central în lanţul determinativ al conduitei omului. Atitudinile determină orientarea comportamentului, îi conferă sens. Iată de ce, cunoaşterea profundă şi multilaterală a fenomenului atitudinilor dezleagă vaste posibilităţi de a înţelege ființa umană și comportamentul său și constituie un instrument important de elucidare a problemelor explorate. Attitudes are the psychic structures that help us in the selective orientation towards various aspects of the environment in which we live. They represent explicit or implicit conceptions of what is desirable or undesirable, are not directly observable, and involve cognitive, affective and behavioral elements. Attitudes are a fundamental motive of human behavior and often its direct cause, and, consequently, a central element in the determining the chain of human behavior. Attitudes determine the orientation of behavior and make it meaningful. That’s why the deep and multilateral knowledge of the phenomenon of attitudes unleashes vast possibilities to understand the human being and their behavior and is an important tool for elucidating the explored problems.
