PARTICULARITĂȚI DE CONSTITUIRE ȘI ORGANIZARE A PRIMELOR UNIVERSITĂȚI ÎN EUROPA SUB INFLUENȚA CONDIȚIILOR SOCIOCULTURALE ALE EPOCII MEDIEVALE

Abstract

Originile universității din Europa au fost mult timp contestate ca aparținând fie secolului al XI-lea, fie secolului al XII-lea, Evul Mediu fiind acea perioadă care a favorizat dezvoltarea acestei instituții specifice. În articol sunt descrise tipologia universitară a timpului, particularitățile sale structurale, precum și influențele pe care le a avut mediul socio-cultural asupra fundamentării și diversificării sale ulterioare.The origins of the university in Europe have long been disputed to belong either to the 11 th or the 12 th century, the Middle Ages being the ones which fostered the development of this specific institution. The article aims at depicting the university typology of the time, its structural peculiarities, as well as the influences the sociocultural environment had on its futher fundamenting and diversification.
