Item Călătoria ca mijloc de dezvoltare a competențelor de comunicare la disciplina limba germană (cum experiențele practice ajută elevii să învețe să vorbească) [Articol](CEP USM, 2025) Gîrlea, Olesea; Cogut, SergiuThe article explores how travel experiences can become a valuable tool in the development of students’ communication skills. In the current educational context, where communication skills are essential for academic success, travel—whether real or imaginary— is seen as a unique learning opportunity. Through practical exercises and projects carried out during trips, students can improve their speaking skills, learn to express their ideas clearly, and build self-confidence. The article highlights the importance of interactive activities, practical exercises such as group discussions, presentations, interviews, or even travel journals, which allow students to apply in practice what they have learned. Thus, travel is not only a geographical learning experience but also an educational process that actively contributes to the development of effective communication and critical thinking skills. These experiences not only help students learn to speak but also to better understand their own thoughts and express their opinions in a coherent and reasoned manner.Item O CUTEZĂTOARE ȘI FASCINANTĂ RESCRIERE A UNUI CANONIC BASM ROMÂNESC(ProLibra, 2022) Cogut, SergiuThe author of the article proposed to highlight the advantages of returning to Ion Creangă’s writings by elucidating their importance as sources of inspiration for contemporary prose writers who publish valuable works rewriting the famous creations of the Romanian classic. Such an indisputable achievement in the context of Romanian prose of the last decades is the novel that came out in 2004 and is entitled „Relatare despre Harap Alb” („A Report about Harap Alb”) by Stelian Țurlea, a prolific author that has dozens of books on his record, but who, surprisingly, does not feature in the recent histories of Romanian literature („The Critical History…” of Nicolae Manolescu and that of Mihai Iovănel which covers the time segment between 1990 and 2020), although he is the holder of several literary awards, including the one from 2005 which was awarded for this exceptional rewriting, in a postmodern register, of the Crengian fairy tale about Harap Alb. Thus, is emphasized and motivated the necessity to valorize the Crengian literary heritage, but also that of recognizing the merits of the novelist Stelian Țurlea by highlighting his contribution and his position in the landscape of current fiction.Item O OPERĂ EXPONENȚIALĂ A MODERNISMULUI LITERAR AJUNSĂ LA CENTENAR(CEP USM, 2023) Cogut, Sergiu2022 a fost marcat de împlinirea a 100 de ani de la publicarea a două creații literare care, cu timpul, au fost apreciate drept opere emblematice ale modernismului. Este vorba de celebrul roman „Ulise” a lui James Joyce și poemul „Țara pustie/ Tărâmul pustiit” de Thomas Stearns Eliot. Acesta din urmă a avut un impact covârșitor asupra poeziei ulterioare, propulsându-l pe autor în vârful ierarhiei poeților secolului XX, deși în epocă a fost perceput ca o creație poetică obscură, contrariind astfel critica literară a timpului. În procesul elaborării operei sale inovatoare și ca mesaj, și ca formă, T. S. Eliot a fost profund influențat de sugestiile prietenului său, mare poet american Ezra Pound care a avut rolul de mentor pentru autorul englez născut și el în Statele Unite, întrucât s-a implicat activ în redactarea remarcabilului poem „Tărâmul pustiit”. Prin această creație a sa, T. S. Eliot s-a afirmat ca o voce de o rezonanță deosebită ce a reliefat dezintegrarea, fiind, astfel, considerat apoi un apostol al postmodernismului. E binevenit să menționăm că pentru o interpretare adecvată a acestei opere de anvergură a secolului trecut e necesară clarificarea și aplicarea conceptului de „corelativ obiectiv” ce a fost teoretizat de același T. S. Eliot în eseul său despre Hamlet.
