Thus, in order to perceive the actor status, activity, interests and tendencies of the international system, it is not enough to analyse only the political, economic or demographic characteristics of the state. A significant role refers to the state image in the world and the way it is perceived by the foreign public. In this context, public diplomacy has played an important role in the past years and has become more effective in managing inter-state relations. The ineffective strategies and techniques in promoting of country image on international arena, poor access to international funds and lack of experience in implementing international projects in partnership with other states are the main obstacles to achieve effective public diplomacy. There were analyzed the notions of public diplomacy and state image. The author researched the international image campaigns promoted by these three states. It delimits the resources and techniques of information sharing for a positive state perception in the foreign public opinion and exposes the results of a national survey on public diplomacy perception in Moldova.Item IMAGINEA STATULUI ÎN RELAȚIILE INTERNAȚIONALE: SUPORT DE CURS(CEP USM, 2018) Ejov, Alexandr; Ejova, CristinaSuportul de curs include o analiză teoretico-metodologică şi istoriografică a imaginii statului și sistematizarea tehnologiilor de formare și poziționare a imaginii politice a statului și liderului pe arena internațională. De asemenea, sunt cercetate teoriile marketingului teritorial și brandingul național, este analizat rolul puterii soft și al diplomației publice în formarea imaginii internaționale a statului, fiind evaluat rolul strategiei de brand în promovarea și dezvoltarea orașelor. Totodată, sunt identificate problemele privind formarea imaginii internaționale a Republicii Moldova la etapa actuală. Materialele sunt destinate cadrelor didactice, studenţilor, masteranzilor, doctoranzilor și tuturor celor interesaţi de tematica respectivă din domeniul știinţei politice, relaţiilor internaţionale, precum şi organelor de resort responsabile de exercitarea politicii externe a statului.
