    Situația bisericii Romano-Catolice din spațiul pruto-nistrean în rapoartele împuternicitului pentru problemele cultelor de pe lângă SCN al URSS pentru RSSM (1944-1947)

    Materialul propus spre atenția cititorului are ca subiect problema legată de constituirea raporturilor dintre cultul romano-catolic din spațiul pruto-nistrean cu puterea sovietică. Se face o analiză a datelor din ultimii ani ai războiului și primii ani postbelici a situației Bisericii Romano-Catolice din restaurata Republică Sovietică Socialistă Moldovenească. Ca sursă principală documentară sunt utilizate documentele emise de către nou creata instituție a împuternicitului pentru problemele cultelor de pe lângă Sovietul Comisarilor Narodnici al URSS pentru URSS, instituție ce a existat între 1944 și 1965. Pe lângă actele cu caracter de instrucție sau dispoziție, ce veneau din partea organelor centrale, rapoartele împuternicitului pentru problemele cultelor conțin și o serie de informații importante precum numărul comunităților romano-catolice, numărul de enoriași, personalitatea feței bisericești ce deservea acest cult etc., care contribuie la reconstituirea istoriei acestui cult într-o perioadă extrem de dificilă. Documentele analizate denotă că la etapa respectivă instituția responsabilă de raporturile dintre diferite culte și stat a avut ca prerogativă luarea la evidență a comunităților romano-catolice, etapă premergătoare și pregătitoare închiderii ulterioare a acestora.

    CLĂDIREA FOSTEI ŞCOLI EPARHIALE POLONEZE A BISERICII ROMANO-CATOLICE DIN CHIŞINĂU. ASPECTE ISTORICO-ARHITECTURALE

    The building’s plan of the Polish diocesan school of the Roman Catholic Church in Chisinau developed by the architect S. P. Zalevsky was approved in 1900. The construction of the edi- fice was started in 1901 according to the initiative of the Council of the Roman Catholic Church. The author of the project applied the principle of corridors when all the classes and rooms of the school were entered from a passage located closer to the courtyard. As for the main facade, the rhythm of the windows is interrupted in two avant-corps with frontons and pilasters. In the upper part of the build- ing there is a frieze with small raised squares protruding from the outside of the border. The same geometric motif with rows of squares or raised rectangles repeated on the decoration of the frontons and the sill plates under the windows. On the frontons there were original wooden elements such as beautifully crafted straps and consoles, which reminded some extent of traditional Polish architecture. During the exploitation, several changes occurred in the volume and exterior appearance of the historical building. Today the former Polish diocesan school’s edifice requires reconstruction works to strengthen the resistance structure, as well as the restoration according to scientific principles.
