    TENDINȚE ȘI VALORI CULTURAL-ARTISTICE EUROPENE ÎN ARTA PLASTICĂ NAȚIONALĂ

    The article describes the cultural context of the evolution of national fine arts in the 20th century. The character of the art of this period is heterogeneous, varied and reflects various sources of influence in the process of formation. Art from the first half of the century. The 20th century knows two vectors of development – 1) “Eastern”, based on the Russian school and 2) West-European, of a modernist nature. In the present study, the focus is on the “western” direction that strongly influenced RomanianBessarabian artists from the beginning of the 20th century. The visual artists from Bessarabia had the opportunity, until 1940, to familiarize themselves during their studies in the big cities of Europe (Paris, Rome, Munich, etc.) with the styles and principles of Western art, which they later implemented in their own creation. The most representative artists who had their studies in the great European cultural centers are: M. Petrașcu, N. Arbore, A. Baillayre, Șn. Cogan, M. Cogan, E. Maleševschi, C. Cobizeva, L. Dubinovschi, M. Gamburd, V. Rusu Ciobanu, M. Grecu, A. Negura, I. Platon etc. The artists synthesized the knowledge obtained abroad, creating original plastic works through which they diversified the aspect of national plastic art.

    ANDREI NEGURĂ ȘI TRANSPUNEREA EMOȚIILOR ÎN CULOARE

    The present approach represents the vision of a historian on the evolution and development of decorative art in Moldova through the lens of the creation of Andrei Negură, an artist who asserted himself equally in painting and tapestry. He made a sensation at the beginning of his activity in the 1980s with the tapestries he exhibited, shaping a new attitude of society, driving his interest in this genre of decorative arts. His creation, deeply rooted in the aesthetics of traditional weaving, offers outstanding samples of modern art, products of original plastic and technological experiments. Thanks to him, for the first time tapestry began to be studied at the level of a higher education institution, he founded the Department of Textile Arts at the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts, the “Tapestry” specialty. His last personal exhibition, Revelations in Color, at the “Constantin Brâncusi” Exhibition Center in Chisinau, presents him in the fullness of his talent as an author of parietal tapestry, three-dimensional tapestry, easel and applicative graphics, oil painting and tempera painting. Through his complex creation, A. Negură made a significant contribution to the valorization of the national cultural heritage.

    METALUL CA PISTĂ DE LANSARE A ARTIȘTILOR PLASTICI LUDMILA ODAINIC ȘI LIDIA CEBAN-BOICO

    Exhibition catalogs insert over time valuable information about artists and their creations that, being confronted with the data from the personal files of the plastic artists kept in the archives, come to elucidate new aspects of the artistic phenomenon. From the documents found, we infer that in the first post-war decades, the most requested metal pieces in which local artists excelled were wafers and decorative reliefs. In this Article, based on the archive files investigated, we set out to highlight and introduce in the scientific circuit unknown pieces of two established artists –Ludmila Odinic and Lidia Ceban-Boico, who until fully manifested in applied decorative art, namely in tapestry and prints, they experimented in the technique of artistic metalworking, considered a prerogative of men.

    Creation is the result of multilateral development of personality, it is one of the basic factors that contribute to the formation of man, to social progress. Creation is a side of the human condition, by which man wants to remove his own limits. The purpose of this article is to demonstrate the importance of the creation in our actual society, to highlight the evolution of creation throughout history.
