    CU PRIVIRE LA VALOAREA EDUCATIVĂ ȘI IMPORTANȚA ORELOR DE GEOGRAFIE ȘI ISTORIE ÎN FORMAREA INTELECTUALĂ A REGELUI MIHAI I, ÎN ANII DE LICEU

    La data de 20 iulie 1927, regele Ferdinand I al României va trece la cele veșnice, cedând tronul tânărului rege Mihai I. În ciuda vârstei sale fragede, Mihai a fost popular și a primit o educație aleasă, sub o Înaltă Regență. Regele Carol al II-lea și-a manifestat preocuparea pentru educația lui Mihai, implicând profesori entuziaști. Printre aceștia, dr. Ion Conea, un geograf plin de inițiativă, a avut un rol important. În școala regală, Mihai a primit o educație ino- vatoare, cu lecții pe teren, sinteze și analize geografice și istorice, dezvoltându-și cunoștințele despre țara sa și pregă- tindu-se pentru viitoarea sa misiune regală. Lucrarea lui Ion Conea, care prezintă această perioadă, reprezintă o sursă valoroasă pentru înțelegerea formării intelectuale a regelui Mihai I și a abordărilor pedagogice moderne utilizate în acea perioadă.

    IMAGINEA DUȘMANULUI ÎN MENTALUL COLECTIV ROMÂNESC DIN TRANSILVANIA (JUMATATEA SEC. AL XIX-LEA– ÎNCEPUTUL SEC.AL XX-LEA)

    The enemy image was clearly outlined in the mentalities of Roumanians in Transilvania in the period 1848-1918. During the Revolution in 1848 we deal with specific beliefs and a particular mental image regarding an ideological enemy, that has been identified with a specific ethnic group. In the wartime (1914-1918), we notice that Romanians have created a negative image regarding the political enemy, who went to war against the AustrianHungarian Empire.

    DIMENSIUNEA PERSONALITĂȚII ISTORICE A LUI SIGISMUND DE LUXEMBURG

    The goals of this graduation thesis are to emphasize two different perspec tives regarding the political activity of Sigismund of Luxembourg. On the one hand he is an emblematic late medieval emperor who takes the responsability to protect the Church and to lead the Crussade against the Ottoman. On the other hand, he takes the first steps towards the modernity by encouraging the centralisation of the political authority within the kingdom of Hungary.
