The enemy image was clearly outlined in the mentalities of Roumanians
in Transilvania in the period 1848-1918. During the Revolution in 1848 we
deal with specific beliefs and a particular mental image regarding an
ideological enemy, that has been identified with a specific ethnic group. In
the wartime (1914-1918), we notice that Romanians have created a negative
image regarding the political enemy, who went to war against the Austrian-
Hungarian Empire.
