Item ANDREI NEGURĂ ȘI TRANSPUNEREA EMOȚIILOR ÎN CULOARE(2022) Condraticova, LilianaThe present approach represents the vision of a historian on the evolution and development of decorative art in Moldova through the lens of the creation of Andrei Negură, an artist who asserted himself equally in painting and tapestry. He made a sensation at the beginning of his activity in the 1980s with the tapestries he exhibited, shaping a new attitude of society, driving his interest in this genre of decorative arts. His creation, deeply rooted in the aesthetics of traditional weaving, offers outstanding samples of modern art, products of original plastic and technological experiments. Thanks to him, for the first time tapestry began to be studied at the level of a higher education institution, he founded the Department of Textile Arts at the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts, the “Tapestry” specialty. His last personal exhibition, Revelations in Color, at the “Constantin Brâncusi” Exhibition Center in Chisinau, presents him in the fullness of his talent as an author of parietal tapestry, three-dimensional tapestry, easel and applicative graphics, oil painting and tempera painting. Through his complex creation, A. Negură made a significant contribution to the valorization of the national cultural heritage.Item PRELUCRAREA ARTISTICĂ A METALELOR DIN RSS MOLDOVENEASCĂ ȘI REPUBLICA MOLDOVA: NUME UITATE SAU MAI PUȚIN ȘTIUTE(Academia de Ştiinţe a Moldovei, 2021) Condraticova, LilianaThe main purpose of our approach is to analyze the activity of craftsmen (artisans) in the field of artistic metal processing in the second half of the twentieth century – the beginning of the twenty-first century. The work of the artists includes various decorative boards representing village life, heroes of folk tales and agricultural work, emphasizing the impact of folk art on the subjects approached by decorative craftsmen. Jewelry, being a relatively apolitical field, is represented by necklaces with pendants, earrings, brooches, rings, all made of noble metals and fine, ornamental pebbles. Based on archival documents, exhibition catalogs and interviews with artists who used to make jewelry and various metal plates, was presented relevant information regarding the activity of craftsmen whose names were recently revealed (Alexei Marco, Gheorghe Cojusnean, Vladimir Calasnicov, Vladimir Vasilkov etc.). Also, in the scientific circuit were introduced new, forgotten or less known names: Vasili Sochin, Iuri Terehov, Natalia Vavilina and others. The evocation of their creation comes to complete the general picture of the evolution of decorative art, implicitly of the artistic processing of metals from the Moldovan SSR and the Republic of Moldova
