Exhibition catalogs insert over time valuable information about artists and their creations that, being
confronted with the data from the personal files of the plastic artists kept in the archives, come to elucidate new aspects
of the artistic phenomenon. From the documents found, we infer that in the first post-war decades, the most requested
metal pieces in which local artists excelled were wafers and decorative reliefs. In this Article, based on the archive files
investigated, we set out to highlight and introduce in the scientific circuit unknown pieces of two established artists –Ludmila Odinic and Lidia Ceban-Boico, who until fully manifested in applied decorative art, namely in tapestry and
prints, they experimented in the technique of artistic metalworking, considered a prerogative of men.
