CAZUL OPEREI „MAREA PRIETENIE” DE VANO MURADELI ȘI ECOUL EI ÎN ÎNVĂȚĂMÂNTUL SUPERIOR DIN RSS MOLDOVENEASCĂ
    (Tipografia "Lexon-Prim", 2020) Șclearuc, Sorin
The article aims to elucidate a case of resonance, which served as a turning point in the world of Soviet music. The opera The Great Friendship by Vano Muradeli serves as a landmark in terms of studying the methods of state involvement and communist ideology in the activities of people of culture. With its condemnation and the issuance of the CC of C(b)PSU Decree from February 10, 1948, communist rhetoric is increasingly rooted in a new tool, a new lever to remove uncomfortable people by the communist system, namely the accusation of formalism. Being part of the Soviet Union, the Moldavian SSR also fell under the new rules, which, as presented by specialized works and archive files, the local communist nomenclature soon took over and assimilated. The State Conservatory in Chisinau were also involved in these processes. In this way, local artists were limited and forced to create cultural products in strict accordance with the requirements of communist ideology.
