The text of this thesis will analyze the impact of this Soviet past on the urban landscape; but also to analyze the development of urban subcultures and the city's transition to modernization in terms of facts and events that took place in Chisinau in the last 20 years: the physical transformation of the city and the high level of liberalization of communication channels that have generated cultural mutations and new sub-urban cultures in Chisinau.
