Item Impactul produsului autohton zoobior asupra metabolismului lipidic la prepelițe [Articol](Editura USM, 2024) Macari, Vasile; Rotari, Liliana; Macari, Ana; Negru, VadimTaking into account the importance of animal health and the quality of the products obtained from it, in recent years the emphasis has been placed on growth stimulants of natural origin. In the research, we aimed to carry out a study highlighting the action of the ZooBioR product from Spirulina platensis on health, and the marker parameters of lipid metabolism in laying quails. The research was carried out on 4 batches of birds (50 quails/batch). In three batches the feed was supplemented with ZooBioR in doses of 10.0; 15.0; 20.0 mg active substance/kg feed. Research has shown that the tested product is well tolerated by quails. The tested product improves the metabolic processes in the bird's body, especially the lipid metabolism: it definetely decreases the amount of cholesterol and triglycerides in blood, at the first stage of research, and the total lipids and β-lipoproteins values. In addition, at the end of the study, the β-lipoprotein values, in the blood of the birds treated with ZooBioR, increased by 2.5-52.1% compared to the control, a positive effect of the tested remedy on the metabolic health of the birds in general, and especially on the lipid metabolism.Item Использование новых технологий в оценке питания больных с хроническими заболеваниями печени [Articol](CEP USM, 2024) Головатюк, Людмила; Лупашко, Юлиана; Березовская, ЕленаThere is a need for simple, accurate and non-invasive methods for assessing body composition, such as bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIa), 282 patients with chronic liver pathology were examined, 75 patients with chronic viral hepatitis (HVC group), 96 patients with hepatic steatosis (sH group), 111 patients with liver cirrhosis (lC group). BIa indicators: BMI, percentage of body fat (PBF), indicator of the proportion of visceral fat (PVF) and total cholesterol, HDl, lDl and triglycerides (TG) in serum were determined. BMI in the sH group - 30.29±0.50, in the HVC group - 28.13±0.65, in the lC group - 22.69±0.16 kg/m². PBF: 36.02±1.06 (sH group), 34.16±1.33 (HVC group), 22.90±0.85% (lC group). lDl: 3.73±0.13 (sH group), 3.02±0.14 (HVC group), 2.35±0.15 mmol/l (lC group). TG: 1.87±0.11 (sH group), 1.48±0.22 (HVC group), 0.80±0.04 mmol/l (lC group). The highest rates of both biochemical and BIa are observed in the sH group, and the lowest in the lC group. To study lipid metabolism of patients with chronic liver disease BIa can be recommended.
