The primary method for developing new ideotypes of pea, soybean, and bean is intraspecific hybridization followed by repeated individual selection. The results obtained represent a genetic advancement in the breeding of these crops, leading to the development of new varieties with high adaptability to natural stress factors, broad ecological plasticity, and minimal fluctuations in yield levels.Item Impactul hibridizării asupra parametrilor morfometrici ai peștilor ornamentali [Articol](CEP USM, 2024) Rusu, Vadim; Dumbrăveanu, Dorin; Croitoru, Ion; Budeanu, Mihail; Pîrţu, IgorIn order to investigate the influence of intraspecific hybridization on the growth rate of fish, the aquarium fish Trichogaster trichopterus (Pallas, 1770), namely the Blue and Gold variations, were chosen as the object of study. The research aimed to elucidate the differences regarding the growth rate between the individuals obtained as a result of intraspecific hybridization and the non-hybridized parental forms. In the descendants obtained by hybridization, a significant variation of the parameters can be seen, compared to the non-hybridized specimens. Starting from the very first days, a significant increase in weight is observed in the hybrid fish. Already from the initial stage, the hybrid offspring exceed the length of the non-hybrid offspring by about 40 %. Intraspecific hybridization can be successfully used as a method to enhance the growth rate of the ornamental fish Trichogaster trichopterus.Item GENOTIPURI NOI DE GRÂU COMUN DE TOAMNĂ – PRODUCTIVITATEA ȘI CALITATEA BOABELOR(Institutul de Genetică, Fiziologie şi Protecţie a Plantelor, 2021) Lupașcu, Galina; Gavzer, Svetlana; Rudacova, Angela; Cherdivara, AlaThe article presents data on the structural elements of the spike and the biochemical content of the grains in newly created common wheat winter genotypes, cultivated in extreme drought conditions of 2020. It was concluded that the lines and cultivars created by hybridization and individual selection of segregating populations are well adapted to drought and have a high nutritional value of grains which is of great practical interest.
