Item THE BIOTECHNOLOGICAL POTENTIAL OF MICROORGANISMS DETERMINATION FOR CREATING COMPLEX PREPARATIONS WITH INSECT-FUNGICIDAL PROPERTIES(CEP USM, 2023) Pilyak, Nina; Khodorchuk, VasylThe research results of the biotechnological potential of microbial strains with different taxonomic statuses are presented for stable microbial consortia creation in complex preparations with insect-fungicidal properties development. Six strains of microorganisms with fungicidal properties and four with insecticidal properties were selected from the Collection of the Engineering and Technological Institute "Biotekhnika" of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. Their biotechnological potential was analyzed toward test objects (phytopathogens and insects). It was found that Trichoderma fungi demonstrate the highest fungicidal activity, while Streptomyces fungi exhibit the highest insecticidal activity.Item GENE RESOURCE OF INDUSTRIALLY IMPORTANT MICROBIAL CULTURE COLLECTION FOR AGRICULTURE BIOLOGIZATION(CEP USM, 2023) Loban, Liudmyla; Pilyak, Nina; Yaroshevsky, VladislavThe article is dedicated to describing the gene resource of Industrially Important Microbial Culture Collection for Agriculture Biologization of Engineering and Technological Institute "Biotekhnika" of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, which holds the status of the Ukrainian National Asset. The Collection includes known industrial microbial strains with antagonistic, entomocidal, rodenticidal, nematocidal, and cellulosolytic properties. There are natural isolates that can transform insoluble phosphorus and ones are phytohormones producers in the Collection. The Collection can serve as a ground of experience exchange for scientists and specialists working in the field of plant protection, as well as for educating students’ biologists, biotechnologists, and agronomists.
