    Productivity and biochemical composition of the green microalga haematococcus pluvialis flotow CNM-AV-05 cultivated in the presence of some alcohols

    Some alcohols have stimulating action on the productivity and biochemical composition of the green microalga Haematococcus pluvialis Flotow-CNM-AV-05. From all alcohols tested, the best results were obtained by adding 3.0 ml/l isopropanol for the non-axenic culture and 0.5 ml/l for the axenic culture to the algal nutrient medium. This alcohol can be used as a regulator of Haematococcus pluvialis growth and biosynthetic activity.

    POTENȚIALUL ECOTURISTIC AL REGIUNII DE DEZVOLTARE CENTRU A REPUBLICII MOLDOVA

    The paper aimed the ecotourism potential evaluation of the Center Development Region of the Republic of Moldova. as a result of the investigations carried out, the protected areas of this region were briefly described, which represent true pearls for the practice of ecotourism both at the national and international level. Thus, the territory of the Center Development Region of the Republic of Moldova possesses 401 natural state protected areas (1 national park – Orhei), 3 scientifc reserves, 28 geological and paleontological monuments, 14 hydrological monuments, 4 botanical monuments represented by sectors representative with forest vegetation, 276 centuriesold trees, 26 natural forest reserves, 3 natural reserves of medicinal plants, 20 landscape reserves, 1 resource reserve, 14 areas with multifunctional management, 8 monuments of landscape architecture, 1 dendrological garden, 1 botanical garden and 1 zoo, which facilitates the practice of ecotourism in this region.

    THE INFLUENCE OF SOME MINERAL FERTILIZERS ON THE ACTIVITY OF THE CYANOBACTERIA NOSTOC LINCKIA AND NOSTOC PUNCTIFORME

    Cyanobacteria are numbered among the organisms that have a clear role in soil fertility. The aim of this research was to assess the influence of mineral fertilizers, frequently used for the soils in the Republic of Moldova, on the activity of the cyanobacteria species Nostoc linckia (Roth.) Born. and Flah. and Nostoc punctiforme (Kützing) Hariot.The o bjectives of the investigations were: to study the morphological and physiological-biochemical particularities of the sestrains of Nostoc; to identify the factors that regulate the irnitrogen-fixing activity, increasing their productivity, enriching soil with organic substances and nitrogen; to study the possibility of using the se species as biological indicators; to determine the rates of the fertilizers that can be used without endangering the activity of the sesoil cyanobacteria.

    HEAVY-METAL TOXICITY IN THE CYANOBACTERIUM ANABAENA VARIABILIS

    The cyanobacterium Anabaena variabilis has a significant role in the natural ecosystems, especially by enriching soil with nitrogen. This cyanobacterium,being present in a sufficient quantity in soil, ensures a more intense growth and a higher productivity of the crop plants. The activity of the cyanobacteria is reduced in cases of pollution of their environment. The purpose of this work was to investigate how presence of heavy metals in the environment affect s the activity of the cyanobacterium A. variabilis .

    TROFICITATEA UNOR LACURI DIN MUNICIPIUL CHIŞINĂU

    On the bases of the obtained results it canbe affirmed that Chisinau’s lakes represents aquatic basins with high eutrophication level. Probably the Ghidighici Lake has higher self-epuration capacity and thanks to this its water is cleaner than that of the other urban studied lakes. The reducing of phosphor and nitrogen contribution from waste waters is the basic factor to combat eutrophication of Chisinau lakes.

    PERSPECTIVELE DEZVOLTĂRII DURABILE A ECOTURISMULUI ÎN REZERVAŢIA PEISAJERĂ „RUDI-ARIONEŞTI”, REPUBLICA MOLDOVA

    În rezultatul studiilor realizate a fost elaborat un itinerar ecoturistic al rezervaţiei peisajere „Rudi-Arioneşti”, care este reprezentativ şi accesibil ecoturiştilor, şi anume: mănăstirea „Rudi”, cetăţuia romană „La trei cruci”, aşezarea medievală „Farfuria turcului”, peştera „Răposaţilor”, cetăţuia de origine tracică „La şanţuri”, „Valea Bradului”, „Izvorul Verde”. Au fost descrise principalele puncte de vizitare din cadrul itinerarului selectat. Au fost abordate problemele ecologice ale rezervaţiei peisajere „Rudi-Arioneşti” ce reprezintă una dintre destinaţiile de bază ale traseelor ecoturistice din raioanele Donduşeni şi Soroca, precum şi propuse soluţii de rezolvare a lor
