(CEP USM, 2014) Stratulat, Irina; Dobrojan, Sergiu; Şalaru, Victor
The semicontinuous method for cultivation the alga Nostoc flagelliforme leads to a higher quantity of biomass in a short period of time. The high algal productivity is obtained at elimination and substitution of 25% of the nutritive medium Z-8 (12,44 g/l) and elimination and substitution of 50% of medium Drew (5,78 g/l). The pH of the nutritive media for cultivation the alga Nostoc flagelliforme by semicontinuous method have increasing trends followed by decreasing and does not differ substantially depending on the concentrations of elimination and substitution of nutritive medium.

EPENDENŢA STRUCTURII TAXONOMICE A ALGELOR EDAFICE PĂSTRATE TIMP ÎNDELUNGAT ÎN CONDIŢII DE ANHIDROBIOZĂ DE PARTICULARITĂŢILE ECOLOGICE A BIOTOPULUI
(CEP USM, 2014) Şalaru, Victor; Melnic, Victor
Currently, in the phycology are using a wide range of methods that allow to keep the microalgae cultures. One of the simplest and cheapest methods of keeping the algal cultures is crossing their dry as a result of dehydration. For this reason, issues related to long storage of algal cultures in dry soil under laboratory conditions and maintain their vitality subsequent reactivation are currently functions of great importance. Peculiarities of biotope influence the resilience of representatives of different species in general and representatives of the same species and in part. The highest percentage of species reappear in cultures analyzed in 2000-2002 is set for beech forests, vegetation and meadow steppe.

SELECTAREA MEDIULUI OPTIMAL PENTRU CULTIVAREA SPECIEI NOSTOC GELATINOSUM (SCHOUSB.) ELENK.
(CEP USM, 2014) Donţu, Natalia; Şalaru, Vasile; Şalaru, Victor; Stratulat, Irina; Trofim, Alina; Dobrojan, Sergiu
The choice of culture medium for algae growing is an important milestone because it can affect the economic aspects of the production process. For cultivation of Nostoc gelatinosum algae the most optimal medium are Drew and Z8. The highest values of algal productivity may be obtained according the semicontinuous method. With the increase of algal productivity pH values change to basic direction.

EFFECT OF LIGHT ON THE PROCESS OF BIOLOGICAL NITROGEN FIXATION IN BLUE-GREEN ALGAE NOSTOC GELATINOSUM (SCHOUSB) ELENK.AND CYLINDROSPERMUM LICHENIFORME (BORY) KÜTZ. (CYANOPHYTA)
(CEP USM, 2014) Dobrojan, Sergiu; Stratulat, Irina; Şalaru, Victor; Dobrojan, Galina
Lighting regime directly influences the process of biological nitrogen fixation carried out by algae Nostoc gelatinosum (Schousb) Elenk. and Cylindrospermum licheniforme (Bory) Kutz. The natural light contributes to the intensification of biological fixation of atmospheric nitrogen in these algae, and the dark regime leads to inhibition the biological nitrogen fixation. Biological nitrogen fixation by blue-green algae achieved by Cylindrospermum licheniforme and Nostoc gelatinosum is a reversible self-regulating process.

EFECTUL PĂSTRĂRII ÎNDELUNGATE A RELEVEELOR DE SOL ÎN CONDIŢII DE LABORATOR ASUPRA COMPONENŢEI ALGOFLOREI EDAFICE DIN PĂDURILE DE FAG
(CEP USM, 2009) Şalaru, Victor; Şalaru, Vasile; Melnic, Victor
The analysis of brown soil on which has been kept in the laboratory conditions for 15-18 years and helped us to distinguish 22 species of algae in comparison with these 48, which was established in the first period of investigation (1984-1987 years). The algae community which was established in the years 2000-2002, are characterized by the predominance of representatives green algae fillum. A long preservation of soil samples in the laboratory for 15-18 years, is contributing to the disapperence of algae from Bacillariophyta fi llum, decreasing green and from Xanthophyta fillum algae diversity, which decreases the number more than twice with a lesser extent it influences on the Cyanophyta fillum. The most resistant were found to be Cyanophyta fillum fi laments form, which are characterized by the presence of a mucilaginous sheath which is well pronounced.

(CEP USM, 2009) Dobrojan, Sergiu; Şalaru, Victor; Şalaru, Vasile
The results of effectuated experiments are demonstrating that the residual waters of animals growing farms can be used in the quality of nutritive medium in the aim of algae biomass obtaining with reduced prime cost in comparison with biomass grow on mineral mediums. From two types of residual waters used in the quality of nutritive medium for Spirulina cultivation the most favorable are that of cows farms in concentration up to 10% when alga’s biomass increases its value from the mineral medium.
