Trends in combating vine phytopathogens with the application of epiphytic microorganisms [Articol]
(Editura USM, 2025) Voloşciuc, Leonid; Șcerbacova, Tatiana; Stîngaci, Aurelia; Pînzaru, Boris; Samoilova, Anna; Harciuc, Oleg; Zavtoni, Pantelimon; Lungu, Andrei; Chistol, Marcela; Curiev, Loredana
The management of phytopathogens plays a decisive role in the sustainable development of agriculture, especially in viticulture. A particularly serious impact is recorded in the development of pathogens of the vine, especially of powdery mildew (Uncinula necator (Schwein) Burrill). In addition to measures promoted by modern agricultural biotechnologies the particular interest are the epiphytic microorganisms, which populate the leaf surface of plants, constituting complex heterogeneous habitats from various extended communities and numerous transients from various systematic entities. Through effective management and control of plant diseases, crop losses can be reduced and the quality and quantity of agricultural products can be improved. The article includes the analysis of the role of different biotic and abiotic factors, which change the relationships within these communities, as well as the adaptation processes of some entities of epiphytic and phytopathogenic microorganisms on the leaf surface of the vine.

Testing of a biopreparation based on Bacillus amyloliquefaciens for winter wheat protection against diseases [Articol]
(2025) Scerbacova, Tatiana; Curiev, Loredana; Stingaci, Aurelia; Gore, Andrei
The results of the testing of the biological fungicide based on the bacteria Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, strain FZB24 to protect the winter wheat variety Moldova-614 from the complex of pathogens in the conditions of the Republic of Moldova. The research was carried out on the experimental field of the IGFPP of SUM. Two preparation consumption norms were tested: 2 kg/ha and 2,5 kg/ha. Used once by the spraying method. As a result, the biological efficiency against Blumeria graminis was 89,0% and 94,7%, Septoria tritici – 85,0% and 91,7%, respectively, Puccinia reconditа – 94,7% and 94.9%. Reduced development of other wheat diseases may be possible.

Testing of the Rihter WDG preparation in the control of apple scab (Venturia inaequalis wint) [Articol]
    (Editura USM, 2025) Curiev, Loredana
The results of the testing of the chemical fungicide Rihter WDG in the control of apple scab variety ”Renet Simirenko” in the conditions of the Republic of Moldova. The research was carried out on the experimental apple orchard of the IGFPP of MSU. Three preparation consumption norms were tested: 1,8 kg/ha, 2,2 kg/ha and 2,5 kg/ha. Used once by the spraying method. As a result, the biological efficiency against apple SCAB was 94,3%,94,0%,91,3%.

The biological protection of plants through various ecological approaches, the significant diversity of the means used (entomophagous organisms, biological preparations, biologically active substances) and their high biological and economic effectiveness, managed to attract substantial attention and gained a high degree of recognition both among the specialists of highly qualified, as well as agricultural producers, regardless of the form of ownership. The effectiveness of applied biological approaches and methods is also increased against the background of the increasing impact of pesticide media and the need to solve ecological problems. On the path to increasing economic efficiency, we have established the benefits of the simultaneous use of two or more biological means.

Aplicarea preparatelor ecologice inofensive contra Podosphaera leucotricha la măr
(CEP USM, 2024) Curiev, Loredana; Pînzaru, Boris
The powdery mildew (Podosphaera leucotricha) can induce more than 60-80% damages of apple trees. Harmless organic preparations are proposed for reducing losses caused by the pathogen on apple fruits. The study of the microbiological products biological efficacy in the powdery mildew control were carried out on apple variety Renet Simirenco. The biological efficacy of 10.0 l/ha Rizoplan + Trichodermin-SC in the control of P. leucotricha consisted 77.1% and 80.8% after the first and the second evidence, respectively.
