For efficiency and competitiveness, companies are required to use creative and innovative methods. The state with its own efforts, financial support from the European Union and other donors have created measures to support SMEs. The reality of the economy shows that businesses are more likely to survive and thrive when they create something new. In this paper we will analyze the main indicators of the activity of innovative SMEs, we will also present the main obstacles that underlie the efficiency of the SME sector.Item INCUBATOARELE DE AFACERI DIN REPUBLICA MOLDOVA ȘI CREAREA PREMISELOR PENTRU DEZVOLTAREA SERVICIILOR CONEXE PENTRU ÎNTREPRINDERILE MICI ȘI MIJLOCII(CEP USM, 2021) Ataman, VioricaSmall and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) occupy a majority role of 98.6% of all enterprises in the Republic of Moldova, hiring over 335 thousand employees. The development of small and medium-sized enterprises involves the employment of the rural labor force, the creation of goods and services required at local and regional level, but also the existence of available secondary raw materials. At the same time, according to the data analyzed below, we note that the survival rate in the first year of SMEs is only 46.8%, which involves mechanisms at the governmental level for better management of small businesses. The creation of business incubators at regional level, is an information and training platform both for managers of newly created and incubated enterprises, but also for the local business environment.
