The analysis highlights the shifts in trade patterns due to strategic integration into European markets and outlines the evolution in the trade structure across various commodity groups and geographical segments. The paper also assesses the impact of global economic shifts and regional trade agreements on Moldova's trade alignment and development. Conclusions are drawn regarding the broader implications of these trends on the future trajectory of Moldova’s international trade and economic development.

    Management of the customs system in the context of integration european: progress and perspectives in the Republic of Moldova

    The article details the progress and future plans of the Customs Service of the Republic of Moldova in institutional development and technological modernization. One of the main objectives is improving infrastructure, implementing modern information technologies, and establishing appropriate regulatory frameworks. Ongoing development focuses on reducing bureaucracy through transitioning to electronic documentation and simplifying administrative procedures. The article emphasizes the importance of international cooperation in the context of global trade and economic security. It highlights the necessity of aligning Moldova’s customs practices with international standards, with a focus on adherence to international treaties and bilateral cooperation with multiple states. Another focal point is the implementation of the ASYCUDA World customs automation system, which standardizes and automates customs processes, facilitates information exchange, and reduces administrative costs. This system is presented as an efficient solution for managing trade flows and customs procedures.

    Comerţul internaţional a crescut, în mod semnificativ, în ultimele decenii şi joacă un rol important pentru bunăstarea economică a unei ţări. Acest studiu are drept scop explorarea teoriilor de comerţ internaţional, aplicabilitatea şi relevanţa lor în cercetarea contemporană. Apoi, folosind cunoştinţele dobândite despre diverse teorii, sunt propuse modelele cele mai potrivite pentru explicarea fluxului comercial dintre Republica Moldova şi Grecia. Mai exact, cercetătorul ajunge la concluzia că teoria dotării cu factori de producţie şi teoria gravitaţiei comerciale sunt teoriile cele mai potrivite, care ar putea servi la explicarea şi dezvoltarea comerţului bilateral dintre Republica Moldova şi Grecia.
