    The importance of increasing SME sustainability through the implementation of information technologies

    Sustainable development is a paradigm for the development of the 21st century global economy, the overall goal of which is to balance the goals of economic prosperity with the responsibility to ensure further social development and environmental protection. In the context of sustainable development, digitalization offers a number of opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and is necessary for SMEs to remain competitive. The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the use of information technology by SMEs and highlighted the potential of ICT for future economic growth. Despite the significant benefits provided by ICT, the smaller size of SMEs often acts as a barrier to digital transformation, slowing down the modernization of small businesses, especially due to a lack of internal resources and knowledge or due to a lack of financing. These delays in the implementation of information technology negatively affect the performance of SMEs. The aim of this study is to review best practices in enhancing small business sustainability through digital transformation and to identify ways and means to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to facilitate their successful development.

    Management of the customs system in the context of integration european: progress and perspectives in the Republic of Moldova

    The article details the progress and future plans of the Customs Service of the Republic of Moldova in institutional development and technological modernization. One of the main objectives is improving infrastructure, implementing modern information technologies, and establishing appropriate regulatory frameworks. Ongoing development focuses on reducing bureaucracy through transitioning to electronic documentation and simplifying administrative procedures. The article emphasizes the importance of international cooperation in the context of global trade and economic security. It highlights the necessity of aligning Moldova’s customs practices with international standards, with a focus on adherence to international treaties and bilateral cooperation with multiple states. Another focal point is the implementation of the ASYCUDA World customs automation system, which standardizes and automates customs processes, facilitates information exchange, and reduces administrative costs. This system is presented as an efficient solution for managing trade flows and customs procedures.

    Plăţile electronice şi alte sisteme electronice de plăţi rapide şi de transferuri băneşti

    Rezumat. În ultimii ani, sistemele bancare mondiale au suferit o serie de schimbări majore. Dereglementarea acestora, corelată cu schimbările rapide din tehnologie, a fixat unele repere privind ultimele tendinţe în domeniul financiar-bancar. De fapt, băncile evoluează într-un climat concurenţial, acesta fiind cel mai propice mediu pentru obţinerea veniturilor bancare. Toate aceste premise ghidează băncile pe calea dezvoltării tranzacţiilor lor, complicarea sistemelor de transfer de fonduri, majorarea rapidităţii şi securităţii lor. Operaţiunile bancare, care au ca obiect instrumentele şi tehnicile de plată, reprezintă un domeniu de importanţă majoră în desfăşurarea activităţii financiare şi nu numai în toate ţările, care acceptă sisteme monetare de plată. Activitatea băncilor comerciale în acest domeniu poarta caracterul unui serviciu principal nou, apărut datorită dezvoltării furtunoase a tehnologiilor informaţionale. Spre deosebire de operaţiunile bancare tradiţionale ca, de exemplu, creditarea, atragerea depozitelor, deservirea prin decontare de casă, emisiunea, deservirea cardurilor bancare, ca tip al activităţii bancare, a apărut relativ nu de mult. Pe măsură ce stilul de viaţă cotidian al oamenilor devine digital, omul interacţionează mai frecvent cu serviciile online şi generează cantităţi tot mai mari de date cu caracter personal, cardul bancar apare ca o invenţie modernaă a plăţii fară numerar. Prin faptul că oamenii îşi modifică interesele, necesităţile si preferinţele, specialiştii cotidieni încearcă să răspundă, dar şi să acopere aceste cerinţe, iar cardul bancar oferind numeroase oportunităţi omului modern, este totuşi şi o proiecţie a viitorului, fiind în legătură directa cu ştiinţa. Experţii care analizează tendinţele creării unui nou spaţiu economic cu valuta comună în rapoartele sale pun accent pe tema creării unui spaţiu comun de plată şi respectiv alegerea instrumentelor de plată electronică este într-adevăr o tendinţă contemporană a tuturor ţărilor.

    Today, it is fair to say that the world belongs to technology. Big data, data warehouses, networks, the internet, artificial intelligence, robots - these are not " the distant future ", but the things we already use every day. New technologies based on artificial intelligence are widely used in all areas of human and professional activity, improving the quality of work and life. This article provides a brief overview of new intelligent technologies that are being implemented, quite successfully, in the tourism sector.

    METAMORFOZA ÎNVĂȚĂMÎNTULUI SUPERIOR DIN REPUBLICA MOLDOVA ÎN CONDIȚII DE PANDEMIE

    The paper is a reflection on the events of the last year that continue to influence the higher education system in the Republic of Moldova, as well as on the radical changes that may take place in the near future. It also deals with the subject of changes in the development of information technologies, which in the context of the current pandemic are implemented in all areas of activity in order to overcome self-isolation. In these conditions of uncertainty, there are multitude of scenarios that can be applied in the development of the education system, which can become strategies for implementing various real actions for further development. The paper proposes several strategies towards the development of education and the improvement of the professional level of teachers, where ICT is not only treated as a subject of study, but also as a tool that leads to the improvement of the educational process.
