This article describes the role of university in educating the younger generation
and developing their skills to participate in achieving the goals of sustainable economic
development, but also by demonstrating student behavior as consumers in the context of
environmental changes in society. The purpose of the research is to develop the action plan
for the sustainable commitment of the Moldova State University, based on the experience of
other universities in the world.
