The International Code for the Protection of Tourists provides guidelines for safeguarding tourists' rights and managing crises. In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, UNWTO launched the Global Guidelines to Restart Tourism, which include safety and security measures to restore travelers' confidence. Partnerships with the Council of Europe promote cultural routes as a means of sustainable development, protecting cultural heritage, and encouraging intercultural dialogue. Collaboration with Google and other organizations supports education and digital innovation in the tourism sector, contributing to the digital transformation of tourist destinations. UNWTO develops protocols for tourist safety and offers technical assistance to member states, addressing challenges such as cybersecurity and human trafficking. Additionally, UNWTO promotes research and information exchange on tourism security, cooperating with international organizations such as ICAO and Europe through collaboration between EU member states and the tourism industry. În rândul cercetătorilor de astăzi, există perspective diferite privind modul de abordare a conceptului de logistică ecologică. Fiind una dintre componentele principale ale conceptului de dezvoltare durabilă, o abordare sistematică a logisticii ecologice permite luarea în considerare a tuturor celorlalte componente ale acesteia. În termeni economici, aceasta înseamnă planificarea și gestionarea activităților logistice pentru a obține beneficii economice maxime. Din punct de vedere social, avem în vedere asigurarea unor condiții de lucru sigure pentru angajații companiei, precum și fabricarea de produse sigure și de înaltă calitate și/sau implementarea unor servicii ecologice. Din punct de vedere ecologic, ne referim la reducerea impactului negativ asupra mediului prin aplicarea tehnologiilor moderne. Este evident că, în ciuda diferitelor abordări pentru înțelegerea logisticii ecologice, aceasta are un caracter atât aplicativ, cât și practic. Logistica ecologică este un factor important de diferențiere în afaceri, deoarece demonstrează poziționarea companiei în raport cu viitorul pieței și al economiei, precum și angajamentul său față de consumatori și mediu. Angajamentele pentru o logistică durabilă oferă beneficii precum o bună reputație corporativă, economii de costuri, responsabilitate față de mediu, eficiența lanțului de aprovizionare și oportunități pentru noi parteneriate. Prin urmare, logistica ecologică este un pas înainte care poate fi implementat de toate companiile, indiferent de segmentul sau dimensiunea acestora.Item PARTICULARITĂȚILE CREĂRII OFERTELOR TURISTICE ÎN HOTELURILE DE 4 STELE DIN REPUBLICA MOLDOVA(CEP USM, 2022-09-27) Carp, Elena; Luca, TatianaTourism offers have always been relevant in the tourism industry as they can lead to the organization of a revenue-generating activity. The drive to be the best in the market has always been present, therefore various strategies are used when creating offers in order to promote the services a hotel provides, as well as to keep it one step ahead of its competitors who have the same star rating. Pricing the offer at a reasonable cost can satisfy customer preferences while the pricing policy ensures that the rates used are profitable. Identifying the tourist demand in the tourist market and highlighting the services provided through the price offer can establish a close relationship between the customer and the hotel company, which would ensure loyalty and create a positive image of the hotel.Item THE PRINCIPLES OF ECOTOURISM DEVELOPMENT(CEP USM, 2022-09-27) Carp, Elena; Tullio, RomitaEcotourism is an environmentally friendly form of tourism, based on appreciation of the environment and in which a conscious effort is made to reinvest an appropriate share of revenue in the conservation of the resources on which it is founded. At the same time, it is a form of sustainable tourism that benefits the local population and, in particular, the rural population. Currently, ecotourism is a modern form of tourism in the Republic of Moldova, attracting all visitors with its respect and care for nature and local traditions. A critical ecological situation has emerged in the Republic of Moldova at the moment, largely due to changes in natural complexes and excessive anthropic activity, which requires an effective solution for environmental conservation and sustainable development. The priorities and challenges of ecotourism are addressed from the perspective of identifying new common routes with neighboring countries.Item THE ECOLOGICAL AND SOCIAL VALUE OF GREEN LOGISTICS(CEP USM, 2022) Carp, Elena; Meriacre, Nina; Ovidio, FrancescoGreen Logistics is a relatively new concept, a part of Green Economy, which considers not just economical aspects but also environmental problems. Unlike classic logistics, that looks only for optimal costs, green logistics is making sure that final decisions won’t have a nega tive effect on the environment or society. It’s making sure that people working in extractions are not exploited, routes are well designed and the environment is not affected. Thanks to Green Logistics concept there were created biofuels, electric trains a nd were discovered so many ways of benefiting from environment without damaging it.
