In this paper the authors address the issues of sustainable development and how
insurance companies could be more actively involved in promoting the United
Nations Principles for sustainable insurance. To this end, the authors analyzed insurance
products that have a sustainability component and could be purchased in order to achieve
the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
In this paper, the author presents arguments based on the synthesis of several opinions of national and
foreign researchers on the contribution of public procurement to sustainable economic development. In order to
highlight the trend of the evolution of the processes in the field of public procurement, the author applied the
method of statistical indices. The research carried out made it possible to identify the characteristic features of
the provision of material resources in the public domain and the principles of achieving an efficient public
financial management.
