Viticulture is an important branch of the agro-food sector of the Republic of Moldova. Vine culture with varieties for table grapes is a separate sector, referring to high-value agriculture. The wine-growing region of the Republic of Moldova has pedoclimatic conditions favorable to the cultivation of the vine. In order to increase the economic efficiency of the wine sector, especially of table grapes, it is necessary to carry out continuous scientific research, taking into account the evolution of climate change at the global level.
