CIS from the territorial point of view is one of the biggest regional structures in the world. The idea to transform
CIS in an intergational body have not been accomplished. By adhering to CIS Republic of Moldova has minimized it’s
possibilities to cooperate with the industrial countries from Western Europe and to integrate to the EU.
Taking into consideration that the EU – Russia relations have improved, the relation between Republic of Moldova
and the EU. RM and Russia will be not as good as they were.
In the last few years the commercial relation with the EU countries have improved, at the some time keeping considerable presence on the Eastern markets.
