The basic objective of the article is to perform a bibliographic synthesis of the conceptualization of the higher education performance. In order to achieve the proposed objective, the following research methods were used: analysis, synthesis, generalization, systematization, formulation of reasonings. As a result of the study, conclusions are formulated about the need to consider the higher education performance from the point of view of the social component, since the functioning of the ecosystem depends on effective interaction between participants in the educational process: employers and society.
