In this article there are presented defining elements of the life quality characteristic to postindustrial society. The last one, covers three successive stages: informational society, society of cognition and society of conscience. In the context of postindustrial society the life quality takes new values, but the people perceive in different way their own needs. The
life quality must be analyzed from objective as well as from subjective positions, taking into consideration systematic transformations of postindustrial society.
