Item Accesul consumatorilor la informaţii privind cerinţele de proiectare ecologică aplicabile produselor cu impact energetic(CEP USM, 2024-11-07) Zamfir, PavelMoldova is one of the European countries exposed to energy vulnerability, a si- tuation exacerbated by rising energy prices as a result of the recent energy crisis. In this context, improving energy efficiency by harmonising eco-design requirements for energy-related products, especially in Moldovan households, is essential to mitigate the problem of energy vulnerability at the national level. The main idea of this article is the integration of sustainability principles into consumer protection policies through measures that promote responsible consumption and support the purchase of environmentally friendly products and services. These measures include consumer education and information, support for responsible production and consumption, promotion of the circular economy, and the establishment of sustainability standards and regulations. The amendment of Government Decision No. 750/2016 on the approval of regulations on eco-design requirements for energy-related products, by harmonising EU standards, will contribute to increasing awareness, participation and social responsibility with regard to environmental issues, protecting end consumers and preventing energy poverty.Item Relevanța majoră a principiului precauției în implementarea eficientă a mecanismului de evaluare a biodiversității [Articol](CEP USM, 2024) Punga, IrinaIn light of unprecedented threats to biodiversity posed by human activities in the contemporary era, it is imperative to adopt effective and sustainable measures to protect biological diversity. Among these measures, the implementation of efficient biodiversity assessment mechanisms plays a crucial role in identifying and mitigating the negative impact of climate change, massive deforestation, and loss of natural habitats. This article proposes an analysis of the exceptional importance of the precautionary principle in the context of effectively implementing biodiversity assessment mechanisms. We will explore the theoretical foundations of this principle, emphasizing its justifications in the face of associated risks and uncertainties. Understanding and appropriately applying the precautionary principle can be an essential tool in our efforts to efficiently implement biodiversity assessment mechanisms and ensure biodiversity protection, promoting sustainable management of natural resources.Item Regimuri juridice europene de protecție a mediului(Print-Caro, 2023) Gugulan, Eugenia; Bejenari, MihaelaThe protection of the environment is a primary objective not only of a nation but of all humanity, because the damage it causes tends to spread across borders and has no „borders”. Consequently, it has become clear that there is a need to develop an EU regulatory framework for the protection of the environment and its components, to identify effective mechanisms to hold states accountable for preventing environmental damage and, in the event of environmental damage, to establish responsibility at the international level. The international environmental liability has specific characteristics, which are founded on the objective nature of environmental liability. Therefore, in this study the authors propose to carry out a survey of the European regulatory framework for environmental protection, with a particular focus on regulations focusing on environmental liability and environmental protection of the European Union states.Item Regimuri juridice europene de protecție a mediului(Print-Caro, 2023-03-15) Gugulan, Evghenia; Bejenari, MihaelaThe protection of the environment is a primary objective not only of a nation but of all humanity, because the damage it causes tends to spread across borders and has no „borders”.
