The criminal law regarding infanticide remain controversial in the theory of
criminology. This is due to the fact that many aspects of this criminal offence is treated differently, which is reflected in non-uniform judicial practice. Thus, by analyzing some cases from the practice of the Republic of Moldova, we approached some controversial issues regarding this unlawfulness, also expressing our own opinion, as in theory there are more.
