The present article is dedicated to the examination of the authentic form
of the legal (juridical) act. The notary authentication of a legal document has an enormous importance in the contemporary society, while had not fully explored its potential in
the Republic of Moldova. In this context, the article contains as problems, as proposals
for their resolution, including the ones related to the role of the notary during the authentication procedure and the effects of the failure to respect the authentic form.
