Eroarea judiciară: concept și reglementare [Articol]

The study is focused on the issue of judicial error as a concept and legal category. Starting from the constitutional text, in which the notion of “error” is attested, and the legislation that develops it, an attempt is made to clarify its meaning, taking into account the lexicographical explanations from explanatory dictionaries and those of legal terms. The main conclusion is focused on the idea that the judicial error, which includes in itself the error of fact and law (even if only one of them), can be admitted as a result of the violation of material or procedural rules, which denotes that it essentially represents an action/ illegal inaction.
O nouă dimensiune aplicativă a criminologiei contemporane

The study focuses on highlighting the role of criminology and the criminologist in contemporary society. Starting from the special significance of criminology in the realization of the state's anti-crime policy, the paper emphasizes the need to extend the use of its results to new important areas of state activity. Specifically, it proposes extending forensic criminological expertise from draft legislation to legislation already in force. In support of this proposal, it gives examples of the possible benefits that can be obtained in a rather sensitive area of our society: the judiciary and the act of justice.
