The notarial succession procedure is within the competence of the notary
who carries out his activity in the territory of the place of opening the succession. In the
case of successive inheritance, the heirs can choose any of the notaries who work in the
territory of the last domicile of the one who left the inheritance. The accomplishment
of the succession procedure is performed by the first notary notified, who registered the
succession file in the Electronic Register of succession files and wills.
