In the current economic-social, political and pandemic context, the emergence of new risks and uncertainties with serious consequences on all areas of activity is inevitable. As a result, risk management has become an imperative and a major concern of the financial management of all entities, regardless of the type of activity.In this paper, the authors aim to address the specific forms of risks related to the insurance activity, to address the managerial process of identifying and monitoring the risks specific to insurance companies.
