    Disability is a concept related to barriers, physical or attitudinal. Long-term medical impairments are not a sentence to the isolation of the disabled person and do not constitute a reason for restricting the exercise of fundamental rights. Placing the emphasis on the potential of the person, ensuring effective measures to realize this potential will contribute to ensuring the dignity and inclusion in the field of work of people with disabilities.

    Disability is a concept that is in a continuous evolution. This concept is a challenge for society, which as a sunflower sheet/leaf allows us to identify the problems faced by people with disabilities as well as the elimination of the barriers they face, in order to develop their potential. A happy person, whose rights and dignity are respected, represents a real treasure for the family, society and for himself.

    The employment of the persons with disabilities represents an up-to-date aspiration for society. This fact will allow the fulfilment of the dreams of the disabled persons; will enhance their implication and social utility as well as the creation of premises for a decent life full of dignity. The real social inclusion depends on the efforts made by the society in order to enable equal chances to the persons with disabilities in the personal affirmation.

    Dizabilitatea nu reprezintă o condamnare la izolare, ci este acea stare de interacțiune a persoanelor cu variate deficiențe de sănătate, care din cauza barierel or fizice sau a atitudinii din societate nu le permite acestora să beneficieze pe deplin de drepturile și libertățile fundamentale, ca și ceilalți membri ai societății. Obligația autorităților publice de a asigura realizarea eficientă a dreptului persoanelor cu dizabilități la educație și la muncă reprezintă premisa incluziunii sociale a acestora și,implicit, ridicării nivelului de viață și asigurării unui trai decent.
