Item Protecția minorilor în spațiul mediatic offline și online(CEP USM, 2024) Tacu, MarianaThe protection of minors in the offline and online media space requires an integrated approach, based on regulatory and legal frameworks, protective technologies, and continuous education. Authorities, educational institutions, media, and parents must systematically collaborate to create a safe environment conducive to the healthy development of children and adolescents. The multifaceted approach to this subject offers a complex perspective on children, as consumers of information, users of online platforms, but also protagonists in press materials. In all cases, adherence to regulatory and legal frameworks is necessary, according to which the best interest of the child is a fundamental principle guiding all decisions and actions affecting children, whether these take place in the legal, social, educational, or media spheres.Item PROTECŢIA MINORILOR ÎN MASS-MEDIA: DE LA CADRU LEGAL LA NORME ETICE(CEP USM, 2020) Tacu, Mariana; Capațîna, DariaWithin the parameters of the legal framework and the deontological norms, efficient working strategies can be elaborated, based also on the application of media techniques to cover the events in which the minors are involved, so that the broadcasted content is qualitative, with credible sources, relevant details, as well as some possible solutions. Journalistic practices can be phased so that certain dilemmas can be resolved. At each stage, media institutions and journalists can call upon international and national laws and ethical norms. The technological progress and the new media, on the one hand, increase the risks in the process of covering the events in which the minors are protagonists, and on the other hand, increase the demands and the possibilities of accessing any law or ethical norms in real time.
