Item SYNTHESIS AND BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY OF COPPER(II), NICKEL(II) AND COBALT(III) COORDINATION COMPOUNDS WITH 2-BENZOYLPYRIDINE N(4)-ALLYL-S- METHYLISOTHIOSEMICARBAZONE(2018) Usataia, Irina; Graur, Vasilii; Zariciuc, Elena; Garbuz, Olga; Gulea, AurelianThe paper presents the synthesis of the 2-benzoylpyridine N(4)-allyl-S-methylisothiosemicarbazone and five coordination compounds of copper(II), nickel(II) and cobalt(III) with this ligand. New synthesized substances were studied using IR and NMR (1H and 13C) spectroscopies, elemental analysis, molar conductivity and magnetochemical research. It was studied in vitro antimicrobial and antifungal activities against a wide range of standard strains Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 25923), Escherihia coli (ATCC 25922), Klebsiella pneumonae and Candida albicans for synthesized substances. The study of the antiproliferative properties in vitro of the pro-ligand and complexes was tested on the human myeloid leukemia HL-60 and cervical cancer HeLa cells.Item INHIBITORII PROLIFERĂRII BACTERIEI BACILLUS CEREUS ÎN BAZA COMPUŞILOR COORDINATIVI AI CUPRULUI(II) CARE CONŢIN 4-FENILTIOSEMICARBAZONA 2-FORMILPIRIDINEI ŞI SULFANILAMIDE(2014) Rudic, Valeriu; Lozan-Tîrșu, Carolina; Zariciuc, Elena; Gulea, Aurelian; Țapcov, VictorStudiul dat se referă la obţinerea unui grup de compuşi coordinativi noi de cupru (II) care conţin 4-feniltiosemicarbazona 2-formilpiridinei şi sulfanilamide şi care manifestă activitate antibacteriană pronunţată faţă de bacteriile din genul Bacillus cereus. Proprietăţile stabilite ale compuşilor nominalizaţi asupra altor tipuri de bacterii gram-pozitive şi gramnegative prezintă oportunitate de utilizare în practica medicală din punctul de vedere al extinderii arsenalului de remedii antimicrobiene, iar complecşii respectivi pot fi utilizaţi şi în cazul altor tulpini de microorganisme rezistente la medicamentele tradiţionale.Item SYNTHESIS AND BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY OF 2-FORMYLPYRIDINE N(4)-ALLYL-3-SELENO-SEMICARBAZONE AND ITS COPPER COORDINATION COMPOUND(2015) Graur, Vasilii; Garbuz, Olga; Zariciuc, Elena; Gudumac, Valentin; Gulea, AurelianThe paper presents the synthesis of the 2-formylpyridine N(4)-allyl-3-seleno-semicarbazone that was studied using NMR spectroscopy. This ligand was used for the synthesis of a copper(II) chloride coordination compound. The study of antimicrobial and antifungal activities showed that these substances possess bacteriostatic and bactericidal activities towards a series of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and fungi in the range of concentration 0.7-500μg/mL. The activity of the copper(II) coordination compound towards gram-negative microorganisms significantly exceeds the activity of the ligand. The antioxidant activity of the synthesized selenosemicarbazones exceeds the activity of the coordination compound. The structure of thiosemicarbazone HL was studied using 1 H and 13С NMR spectroscopy. For the synthesized compounds their antimicrobial and antifungal activity was studied on a series of standard strains. For HL and Cu(HL)2(NO3)2 the antitumor activity towards human leukemia HL-60 cells was estimated. It was established that coordination compounds manifest better activity than free ligand.
