(CEP USM, 2024) Sîrbu, Irina; Șevciuc, Maia
This study focuses on analyzing the group-based organization of educational activities and its role in developing students’ research skills. In the context of modern education, where the emphasis is on competency development, the ability to work collaboratively is a key aspect of the educational process. Within research activities, students become active participants, formulating objectives, selecting methods, and evaluating results. This process helps to reduce anxiety and increase self-confidence, as the responsibility for the final outcome is shared among all group members. Furthermore, the teacher, acting as a mentor, provides essential support, assisting students in building confidence and coordinating their actions. The study also examines the stages of project-based activities, including defining objectives, selecting topics, distributing responsibilities, implementing the project, and reflecting on the process.

Career guidance for students is an essential process that helps them make informed decisions about their further education and career path. This process is influenced by a number of factors, including educational policies implemented at the international and national level. The fluctuations of the labor market justify the transfiguration of the career guidance and counseling process in the hierarchy of the education system. The elements of the career guidance process can be found in the practices of the pre-university education system, in order to assist teenagers in their career option. The conducted study highlights that career guidance is an important segment, reflected in educational policy documents, in which it is assigned an essential role in the personal and professional development of students.

(CEP USM, 2024) Șevciuc, Maia; Țurcanu, Carolina; Boliev, Veaceslav
The given article is dedicated to the approach of Education Plans from the perspective of the formation of inter- and transdisciplinary skills. The focus is on the analysis of the formative values of the Curriculum, of school subjects in the formation of transversal skills in different countries. Six transversal competences are identified from the structure of the key competences of the Council of Europe and the clear disciplines, which contribute to their formation, in the first place. We found several differences in the structure of the school subjects through which the identified skills are formed in different countries. The analysis of the correlation of school subjects with transversal skills represents an effective methodological mechanism for relevant curriculum design. It is also proposed to measure the interference of school discipline with transversal competence, which can be measured by qualifications, to a large extent, to an average extent, to a small extent, it does not manifest itself.
