Item Assessment of correlation and path analysis in collection’s genotypes of chickpea(CEP USM, 2024) Curshunji, DmitriTwenty three collection genotypes of chickpea were evaluated for 10 components of yield (3 phenological and 7 plant data) on grain yield per plant. Investigation was carried out on field of Institution in 2022-2023. Correlation analysis revealed significant relationship by characters: days taken to flowering and maturity, primary and secondary branches per plant and 100 grain weight with grain yield. Highly negative correlation with yield had component grain per pod. Path analysis revealed direct effect on yield following components: highest effect had character 100 grain weight (0.833) followed by pods per plant (0.562), days to flowering (0.362), primary branches per plant (0.192) and secondary branches per plant (0.074). Highest negative direct effect on yield had character grain per pod (-0.881) followed by grain per plant (-0.593), days taken to maturity (-0.106). Grain per plant was formed mainly on basis 6 components by indirect effects.Item Manifestation of heterosis in cucumber F1 hybrids according to yield indicators in the forest-steppe conditions of Ukraine(CEP USM, 2024) Serhiienko, Oksana; Solodovnyk, Lina; Harbovska, Тetiana; Radchenko, LarisaThe conducted research evaluated the effect of heterosis and the degree of dominance of promising hybrid combinations of cucumber. Twenty-eight hybrid combinations were analyzed for four yield traits: total and marketable yield, yield in the first decade of fruiting, marketable percentage, and average fruit weight. It was established that the effect of heterosis varied depending on the combination of crossing and the investigated trait. The trend of a positive relationship between the values of heterosis and the degree of dominance was revealed: an increase in the degree of dominance was accompanied by an increase in the effect of heterosis. The highest heterosis effect was noted in F1 hybrid combinations: RD 96 2-95 × Fen, Mag 62 × RD 96 2-95, Toma-18 × Fora, BD 96-18 × Fen, Ivol D 96 × Fen, Ivol D 96 × Toma-18, Kozyr. Card × Mag-62. These hybrid combinations are a valuable breeding material for increasing yield.Item Correlation of yield with quality indicators for triticum Aestivum l. genotypes(CEP USM, 2024) Pravdziva, Iryna; Shadchyna, TamaraThis article presents correlations between yield and wide range of quality indicators of genotypes Triticum aestivum L. They include physical indicators of grain quality, flour and bread quality indicators as well as rheological properties of dough. A significant influence of growing conditions on the strength and direction of the relationship between yield and grain quality indicators is noted. A number of varieties and breeding lines of winter bread wheat have been identified, which combine in one genotype a higher level of yield with correspondingly high grain quality indicators, which should be used in practical breeding to create new basic material.Item Features of the technology of growing Allium ursinum L. in Ukraine(CEP USM, 2024) Pryvedeniuk, Nazar; Hlushchenko, LyudmylaThe possibility of growing Allium ursinum L., in the field conditions of the left bank forest-steppe of Ukraine has been established. Studies have been carried out to establish the influence of the density of Allium ursinum L., planting on the yield of dry leaves. A tendency to increase crop productivity with an increase in planting density has been revealed. The highest yield of dry raw materials among the studied variants was obtained with a planting density of 444 thousand plants/ha.Item Biological and agricultural characterization of introduced variety „Weiki” (Actinidia arguta planch) in Georgia(CEP USM, 2024) Bobokashvili, Zviad; Maglakelidze, Elene; Kvaliasvili, VazhaToday, the most important task of agricultural development, along with traditional crops, is to facilitate the introduction and testing of highly adaptive crops with a competitive advantage in the country, such as Kiwiberry. The article presents the first study of the biological and agricultural properties of the "Baby Kiwi" variety (Actinidia arguta Planch.) Weiki in Georgia. It evaluates the adaptability of Kiwi plants to the environmental and climatic conditions of Eastern Georgia. The research was carried out in a collection orchard located in one of the leading fruit-growing regions of Georgia, Shida (Inner) Kartli (village Jighaura, Saguramo, Mtskheta municipality), and belongs to the LEPL ScientificResearch Center of Agriculture (SRCA) from 2019 to 2023.Item Efectul îngrășământului Foliar pistachio mix plus NPA asupra randamentului și calității fructelor de cireș(CEP USM, 2024) Balan, Valerian; Vamasescu, Sergiu; Russu, Stanislav; Buza, Cornel; Talpalaru, DumitruThe objective of the study is to determine the effect of the Pistachio Mix Plus NPA foliar fertilizer based on nanotechnology on the yield and quality of cherry fruits. The research was carried out on the Ferrovia cherry variety, grafted on Gisela 6, planted at a distance of 4x1.5 m. During the years 2022-2024, the foliar fertilizer was administered in 4 phenophases of cherry flower bud development in the dose of 2.5 l/ha. Applying Pistachio Mix Plus NPA in three phenophases (white-pink bud, petal shaking, beginning of budding), fruit yield increased by 14.423.5%, and their weight increased by 4-18.1% in the treated varieties in relation to the witness.Item Grain yield and quality of winter bread wheat depending on crop processing(CEP USM, 2024-10-07) Kalitsinska, Olesia; Zaima, OleksiiWinter wheat is one of the most common field crops both in Ukraine and abroad. An important factor in protecting plants from pests and preserving the harvest is the use of plant protection products. We investigated the influence of insecticides and microfertilizers on grain yield of winter bread wheat varieties. There was found a positive effect and generally increased results compared to the control. We obtained the best grain quality indicators of winter bread wheat when using insecticides in variants with complex treatment with insecticides and microfertilizer.Item Investigation the adaption of pea (Pisum sativum) Lines and varieties under Mediterranean climatic conditions(CEP USM, 2024-10-07) Dürdane, Mart; Türkeri, MeltemThis research was conducted in Adana ecological conditions of the Eastern Mediterranean region in order to determine the yield and yield components of pea genotypes that were advanced in the breeding studies carried out in Adana province during the 2022-2023 growing period. The experimental material consisted of 20 genotypes and 3 commercial varieties considered as control. The experiment was carried out according to the randomized block design with three replications, 45 cm between rows, 10 cm above rows, 5 m in length and 4 rows (5mX4 rowsX0,45m) for each genotype. The sowing of the experiment was carried out on December 20, 2022 for winter and the harvest was completed on June 5, 2023. According to the results of the research findings, the flowering period of the varieties varied between 67.50-58 days, pod setting period 79.50-70 days, plant height 182.50-57cm, first pod height 68-23.50cm, hundred grain weight 28.85-11.24gr and grain yield 245-105.33kgda. According to the data obtained at the end of the research, Adana1, Adana3, Adana8, Adana13, Adana14, Adana15 and Adana16 genotypes, which have high values in terms of grain yield and hundred grain weight, were found suitable for evaluation for the region and recorded in breeding studies. However, in order to make a better decision, it should be supported by more long-term and detailed agronomic studies.
