Item DREPTUL LA INFORMARE ȘI LIBERTATEA DE EXPRIMARE ÎN CONFORMITATE CU JURISPRUDENȚA CtEDO(CEP USM, 2024) Popa, Dumitru MirelThe topic addressed by us through this study focuses mainly on all the Mass media factors involved in the media market, with the aim of fulfilling a single objective: the prompt and correct information of the public. This is the very essence of journalism and what should drive journalists. The aim of the present study is to essentially analyze the phenomenology of the journalistic approach from the perspective of the right to information, freedom of expression, but also how these rights and freedoms are consistent with the ECHR legislation and jurisprudence. As research methods there were used analysis, synthesis and comparison which led to results highlighting the shortcomings and the results obtained from our study can be summarized as being gratifying, which have the effect of raising the awareness of media creators as to how rights and freedoms are used in the practice and jurisprudence of the ECHR. Thus, as we presented in our study, mass media is based on the concrete creation of conditions necessary to create a positive cycle of information communication, to have the right to be informed but also how freedom of expression is applied according to European legal provisions.
