    Research Data Management (RDM) is integrated into the research process and involves the management of data collected throughout the life of a scientific project. Academic libraries play an important role in this process, providing resources and infrastructure for all stages of the data lifecycle. The success of RDM depends on collaboration between a range of stakeholders, including academics, policy makers, funders and industry. Stakeholder mapping is important to identify and analyse the actors involved, facilitating effective management and harmonious collaboration. Effective partnerships contribute to the success of the RDM. Good communication and relationship management are necessary to maximise the benefits of collaboration and ensure the long-term sustainability and impact of scientific research.

    PERCEPTION OF OPEN SCIENCE IN THE SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY OF THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

    Open Science becomes the basic concept in organizing and conducting the research and development process. The opening of the process of research and communication of science is supported and promoted both at the international level and at the national level in many countries through science policies and actions. At present, no Open Science policy is approved at the national level in the Republic of Moldova, but there are actions, undertaken by various organizations or within some projects, that promote this concept. And recently, the national authority in the field of science policy has been concerned about the promotion of Open Science principles in the country. Policy development and implementation of Open Science principles is difficult without involving all stakeholders and without knowledge of the current situation, both in terms of technical and legislative issues, and especially in terms of awareness of the need and willingness of people to contribute to this process. In this context, we set out to carry out this study, taking into account the insufficient level of debates and analyzes on Open Science subject carried out in the Republic of Moldova. Its purpose is to determine the attitude, the level of awareness and involvement in issues related to Open Science and its elements in the Republic of Moldova, which will serve to develop Open Science policies and instruments at national and institutional levels.

    The importance and role of data management plans has increased in the context of Horizon programs, policies of research funders and journal publishers, which submit requirements for efficient management of research data and ensuring access to them. This article reflects various factors that have led to increased interest in research data management, includes the components that commonly form a data management plan, and provides examples of tools and other resources that can help researchers and others involved in data management.

    MODELE ALE CICLULUI DE VIAŢĂ AL DATELOR DE CERCETARE

    În lucrare sunt analizate şi prezentate diferite modele ale ciclului de viaţă al datelor de cercetare. Un model de ciclu de viaţă al datelor ar putea include crearea de date (conceptualizare), colectarea şi descrierea datelor, stocarea datelor, arhivarea şi conservarea, accesul la date, descoperirea, analiza, reutilizarea şi transformarea datelor. Modelele pot ajuta instituţiile să articuleze şi să perfecţioneze fluxurile activităţii de cercetare, precum şi să dezvolte servicii de asistenţă care să permită o gamă largă de părţi interesate implicate pentru a răspunde cerinţelor de gestionare şi custodie a datelor.

    STRATEGII ŞI POLITICI ÎN DOMENIUL DATELOR DE CERCETARE DESCHISE

    Actualmente, în era digitală, a devenit importantă şi decisivă conştientizarea şi înţelegerea privind realizarea cercetărlor de înaltă calitate, precum şi gestion area eficientă a datelor de cercetare. Finanţatorii cercetărilor ştiinţifice din ce în ce mai activ încep să mandateze accesul deschis la cercetările pe care le finanţează. Acest articol prezintă strategiile, viziunile, politicile de susţinere a accesului deschis la datele de cercetare, promovate de către organisme, guverne, agentii de finanţare, instituţii de cercetare etc. recunoscute internaţionale, europene şi interstatale. Sunt analizate politicile, activităţile promovate în domeniul gestionării datelor de cercetare în diferite ţări, ca Anglia, America, Canada, Franţa, Lituania, precum şi iniţiativele întreprinse în Republica Moldova. În lucrare sunt prezentate şi câteva recomandări pentru activarea procesului de gestionare a datelor de cercetare în Republica Moldova.
