The paper presents the state of national current policies in fi eld of science and innovation regarding the elements and activities related to Open Science. It envisages the fi ndings and recommendation for development of national research systems with regards towards Open Science, argued by the countries which have participated in the Mutual Learning Exercise on Open Science, carried out under the Horizon 2020 Policy Support Facility (PSF).
