Prezența interesului public în știrile TV
    (CEP USM, 2024) Țurcanu, Dumitru
The mass media, by their role and purpose, are and will definitely remain promoters of human values, of the interests of as many citizens as possible. Journalists inform the public on different platforms about the government’s actions and projects, either for the term of the mandate obtained as a result of the democratic elections, or in the short term, aiming at the realization and concrete results. The legislation from our country, as well as the international one, validated by the Moldovan authorities, provides for a series of rights and obligations of the mass media, on the one hand, and the representatives of power - on the other, in joint actions to achieve public interests, such as national security, integrity of the country, guaranteeing a decent standard of living, economic, financial and currency protection, health protection, education and culture, ecology and environmental policies and others. As a rule, even in a democratic society, the press, trying to be independent, encounters obstacles when it tries to criticize the failures of the government regarding the achievements of projects assumed to be of public interest. The analysis of three TV stations from the Republic of Moldova tries to find answers to some question marks in this summary.

HIC ET NUNC VS PSEUDOREALITATEA TELEVIZUALĂ
    (CEP USM, 2024) Țurcanu, Dumitru
The role of the media is to reflect reality in all its complexity. The basic principle is respect for the truth, objective presentation of facts, fundamental documentation, balanced, neutral presentation of the opinion of all participants in the event. Television, including the one from the Republic of Moldova, in its news and documentary programs, falsifies reality through various methods. The use of fake news occurs in parallel with the presentation of factoid materials, which leads to distortion of the truth, manipulation and misinformation. Television does not present the truth, does not reflect the existing reality, but creates a pseudo-reality, a false reality. Thus, televisual reality camouflages the real political, economic, social, national, cultural problems that exist in Moldovan society and creates for the viewer an unreal world, a world of illusions. The televisual image produced by TV does not contribute to the understanding of the facts, to the real, true knowledge of life. It takes the viewer into the space of emotions, sensations, spectacle. The article suggests some solutions to remedy the situation.

Reportage, as an informative species, is the one that transmits the atmosphere, the details and the semnification of the event. Either newspaper, radio or TV, they use different means and techniques of presenting. The one technique that applies to all of them is the presence of the journalist at the event. This is a mandatory for this species because it contributes to the transmission of the event by reffering to facts, dates, figures, witnesses, participants, but also to our attraction, the consumers, in the center of the event.
